New Brewery Opens In Bay Shore

BAY SHORE, NY - A new brewery recently opened in Bay Shore, adding to the growing collection in the area for beer-lovers. The latest, Ghost Brewing Co., opened on 25 Drexel Drive, behind the Great South Bay Brewery.

In addition to those two breweries, Bay Shore is also home to The Brewers Collective, Destination Unknown Beer Company and HopWin's Brewery.

The brewery opened last week starting off with eight beers on tap including several IPAs, a strong ale and a cream ale, according to the Long Island Press. Eventually the brewery plans to offer up to 12 beers on tap.

Ghost Brewery is open 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Wednesday though Friday, 12 p.m. to 12 a.m. on Saturdays and 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays.
