New Owners To Take Over Brightwaters Inn

The duo, who together own two restaurants in Bay Shore, plan to bring new life to the bar and grill.

BRIGHTWATERS, NY — A duo who already own two businesses in Bay Shore will now adding a third to their list. In addition to the two restaurants they own, Anthony Tartaglia and Andrew Tartaglia will be taking over the Brightwaters Inn, on 200 Orinoco Drive.

The two are currently the owners of Coastal Kitchen & Daiquiri Bar on 12 E. Main Street as well as Verde Kitchen & Cocktails on 70 E Main Street along with James Howell, Nick Ketcham, and Ian Soukup. Their new business venture will be to take over the bar and grill, which will also provide plenty of entertainment for patrons including a pool table, two dart boards and TV's.

While an exact opening date has not yet been announced, the owners plan to open sometime next month. The men also plan to not change too much in the long established bar, Anthony told Patch.

"We are just planning a facelift along with a new kitchen and some new food and drinks," he said.

They are excited to be joining the community, just a mile and half away from their two other eateries in Bay Shore.

"[Brightwaters] is a very tight knit community with just a few businesses and we're lucky to be one of them," Anthony said.
