Pedestrian Killed, Struck By 2 Cars: PD
A Bay Shore man died while standing in the middle of the street on Monday night, police say.

BAY SHORE, NY — A man died after being struck and killed by two cars while standing in a street in Bay Shore Monday night, Suffolk County Police said.
Christopher Weiler, 30, of Bay Shore, was standing in the middle of Brentwood Road, between Tillie Street and Redington Street, at about 7 p.m. when he was struck by a southbound 1999 Jeep, police said. The collision then knocked Weiler into the northbound lane where he was struck by a 2006 Hyundai, police said.
Weiler was taken to South Shore University Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said. The drivers of the Jeep and the Hyundai were not injured. Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks.
