Police Investigating Incidents of Car Vandalism in Bay Shore

BAY SHORE, NY - Police are investigating several cases of cars being vandalized in the Bay Shore area that occurred on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Police received at least five reports of criminal mischief to cars between 11:45 p.m. Tuesday night and 7 a.m. Wednesday morning.

The streets where the car were located include: Montauk Drive, Manatuck Boulevard, Penataquit Avenue, Smith Street and 5th Ave.

There could be more reports as people go out to the their cars, police said.

The extent of the damage to the cars is still unknown. It is also unknown if the incidents are related.
