Police Seek Help to Find Man Who Stole Car and Then Crashed It

Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who stole a car in Bay Shore and was then involved in multiple hit-and-runs before fleeing on foot last week.

According to police, the man pictured above stole a 2013 Honda Accord from the parking lot of Spin City Laundromat, located on Manatuck Boulevard, on May 17 at about 10:40 p.m. The man subsequently crashed the vehicle into three other vehicles and a fence before fleeing on foot, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
