Officer Accidentally Shoots Himself In Hand
The officer was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.

CENTRAL ISLIP, NY - A Suffolk Police officer accidentally shot himself in the hand in Central Islip on Monday night, police confirmed.
The officer accidentally discharged his weapon and was struck in the hand at about 8:45 p.m.
He was hospitalized and underwent surgery.
