Three Charged With Selling Alcohol To Minors: Police

Three stores in the Town of Islip were cited for selling alcohol to an undercover operative, police say.

Three people were arrested during an underage drinker enforcement operation in the Town of Islip on Monday, according to State Police.

During the operation three businesses were cited for selling alcoholic beverages to an undercover State Police operative.

According to police, the following three people were arrested:

  • Melissa Tineo-Nunez, 24, of Bay Shore, a clerk at 7-Eleven on Sunrise Highway in Oakdale.
  • Evelyn Y. Franco, 34, of Bay Shore, a clerk at Citgo on Montauk Highway in Oakdale.
  • Hui M. Huang, 42, of Oakland Gardens, a clerk at Sunrise Liquor Store on Sunrise Highway in Bay Shore.

The trio were all charged with first degree unlawful dealing with a child and prohibited sale of an alcoholic beverage.
