Nominate City Bike Share Locations in Bayside

The City is accepting nominations for bike share station locations in the new bike share program to start this summer. For the program to work well, we need to have stations throughout Bayside.

Don't let Manhattan and Brooklyn get them all -- go to the Bike Share Web site and use the map to make your suggestions and endorse the suggestions of others.

If you'd like to bike to the railroad station or the express bus stop, suggest stations near your home and the bus stop and endorse the suggested stations near the LIRR.

If you want your kids to bike to school, suggest stations near your home and their school.

Membership in the program will cost about the same as a monthly metro card, with no worries about bicycle theft.

Experience is showing that the more bikes there arfe on the road, the safer everyone is, including bikers, pedestrians, and even drivers. Bayside is a glorious place to bike. Let's take advantage of it with the City's help!
