Braunstein Announces Halloween Contest Winners
Assemblyman picks winner for grades two through five in essay and drawing contest.

State Assemblyman Edward Braunstein, D-Bayside has announced the winners of his annual Halloween essay and drawing contest.
More than 200 students took part in the contest, which is aimed at pupils in second through fifth grades. Subject matter ranged from a favorite trick or treating experience to why a student picked a particular costume this year.

2nd Grade Grand Prize Award - Aaron Omar, who attends Floral Park's P.S. 115.
3rd Grade Grand Prize Award - Wen Fei Lin, who attends Bayside's P.S. 203.

4th Grade Grand Prize Award - Christopher Du, who attends Rego Park's P.S. 174.
5th Grade Grand Prize Award - Vincent Fong, who attends Flushing's St. Mel's School.
"More than 200 students from schools in Queens participated in my Halloween essay and drawing contest and I was very impressed with their extremely artistic and creative entries," Braunstein said.
