Saving Radio City Music Hall: An Author Talk with Rosemary Novellino-Mearns

Unbelievable as it sounds, in 1978, Radio City Music Hall — an Art Deco masterpiece and one of New York City’s iconic tourist attractions and cultural landmarks — was slated for demolition.
Rosemary Novellino-Mearns, Dance Captain of the Radio City Music Hall Ballet Company during the 1970s, recounts the remarkable true story of how she rallied colleagues, friends, members of the media, and political allies to challenge the Rockefeller establishment and, against all odds, save "The Showplace of the Nation."
Join Rosemary at the BHS Castle for this special presentation. A Q&A and book signing will follow.
Cost is $10 for BHS members and $15 for non-members.
