CDEC 26 Announces Leadership for Next Two Years
Board will next meet on Aug. 29 in Fresh Meadows.

Community District Education Council 26 has announced its leadership that will lead the group through June 2015.
Jeanette Segal will remain president of the council, while Ricky Chan will be the first vice president and Leslie Rubenstein will act as second vice president.
Alan Ong is the council’s treasurer and Susan Shiroma remains the borough appointee.

Lucy Vieco will be CDEC 26’s recording secretary. The council’s other members include Jaime Alvarez-Isasi, Jaya Patil and Anastasio Politidis.
Currently, the council is seeking three members, including two parents of English as a Second Language students and one local pupil.

CDEC 26 represents schools in Bayside, Douglaston, Little Neck and several other Queens communities.
The board will next meet on Aug. 29 in the teacher’s room at P.S. 173, which is located at 174-10 67th Ave in Fresh Meadows.
Discussions at the meeting will include committee assignments and scheduled meeting dates.
