"Preparing for Climate Change" by Mark Lowery of the NYS Dept. of Environmental Conservation
The Queens County Bird Club is hosting a presentation on Wednesday, May 18, 2016, starting 8 pm, at the Alley Pond Environmental Center, located at 228-06 Northern Blvd., Douglaston, NY 11362. Mark Lowery of the NYS Dept. of Environmental Conservation will present “Preparing for Climate Change”, describing the effects of climate change on both human and natural communities. Free admission.
