Driver Runs Through Fence Into Northeast Queens Sushi Restaurant
A driver burst through a fence and into an Auburndale sushi restaurant early Thursday morning.

AUBURNDALE, QUEENS — A man drove through a fence and into a Queens sushi restaurant early Thursday, according to fire department officials and witnesses.
The driver suffered minor injuries after he burst through the gate outside Sushi Village in Auburndale just before 8 a.m., according to the FDNY and a news report.
First responders brought the man to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Hospital, the FDNY official said.

Sushi Village, located at at 3250 Francis Lewis Blvd., was closed at the time of the crash.
