Enterprise Rent-A-Car in New York Assists Queens Community Students in Honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Enterprise Rent-A-Car in New York City collaborated with City Year New York during the Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service.

NEW YORK, NY (January 29, 2016) - Enterprise Rent-A-Car in New York City collaborated with City Year New York during the Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service on January 18, 2016.

“At Enterprise, we strive to help the communities in which we live and work,” said Nancy Pasciuto, human resources generalist manager for Enterprise in New York. “To celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day, our team partnered with City Year to help provide a creative and fun environment for the students of the Albert Shanker School for Visual and Performing Arts in Queens, New York.”

The Albert Shanker School for Visual and Performing Arts provides Sixth through Eighth Grade students with an educational experience enriched in the visual and performing arts.

Enterprise employees painted a mural within the school’s building. Volunteers included Jurnee Gunter, Jessica Ostrowski, Rob Hall, Nancy Pasciuto, Jazzmin Jeter, Blair Jones, Nolan and Ashley Emmer, Tonya Yablochnik, Celestine Crivaro and William Bryan.

“Thanks to the dedication of our employees, we were able to create an art piece for these talented students to enjoy,” added Celestine Crivaro, human resources generalist manager for Enterprise in New York. “We hope these students will feel inspired by it and share their creativity with the community in the future.”
