Free Estate & Elder Law Update Presented by Hon. Ann-Margaret Carrozza Esq.

The former State Assemblywoman will host a talk on how to "Protect Assets in the Event of Long-term Illness", as part of the church's Continuing Health and Wellness series. 
Local senior residents and caregivers are invited to attend an learn the importance of proper estate planning. 
“Participants at this event will learn what they need to know about the recent estate tax changes,” said Carrozza. “The program will also focus on how to manage a loved one’s assets when they are no longer capable, how to protect one’s home and other assets when a loved one needs long-term care, estate planning – what happens when the ‘well’ spouse dies first, as well as how to prevent your children from paying 70 % combined New York State and Federal estate tax.” 
Carrozza has served on the New York State Assembly for 14 years and has lauded northeast Queens for their generous donations in the past.
