New York Hospital of Queens will be presenting two free lectures on Breast Health & Cancer. The first lecture is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, October 18, while the second is set for Monday, October 24. Both sessions begin at 6 p.m. in the vacant store across from the Bay View Dry Cleaners, in the Bay Terrace Shopping Center.
Several presenters will cover an array of topics, including healthcare and screenings, hereditary factors, programs and services. Speakers will also include breast cancer survivors, giving their personal accounts of having been diagnosed with, and defeating, breast cancer.
