The Alley Pond Environmental Center will host a clean-up event on Saturday April 23 and April 30, between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
Participants of this clean-up will not be picking trash, but Invasive Species of the plant kind. Such plants that will be removed from the wetlands in Alley Pond Park include wild rose and porcelain berry.
Volunteers of all ages are invited to either or both dates specified. Call APEC at 718-229-4000 to register if you would like to participate.
