Help fight heart disease and stroke on Long Island with a healthy 5K walk/run that also promotes prevention. This is the tenth year Nassau Community College is supporting this event. Last year the college raised almost $9,000 in contributions.
“The partnership established over the years between the College and the American Heart Association has created opportunities for thousands of walkers and runners to raise much needed funding for heart and stroke research,” said Dr. Donald P. Astrab, President of NCC.

Approximately 3,000 volunteers are expected to attend.
