Northeast Queens Students Receive Diplomas
A total 13 students graduate, while another makes the dean's list.

A total 13 students from northeast Queens graduated from the University of Albany during the school’s commencement in May, while another from Little Neck made the dean’s list at Clark University.
The University of Albany held its commencement weekend on May 17 to 19.
Little Neck’s Joanna Cohen and Madeline Cohen both graduated with a master of science degree.

Douglaston’s Amanda Peveraro and Sebastian Agosti – as well as Little Neck’s Kerry McDonald - received their bachelor of arts degrees.
And Michelle Chun, of Douglaston, graduated with a bachelor of science.

Bayside’s Kenneth Krell, Dennis Pruden, Despina Psomopoulos and Samar Shahid received their bachelor of science degrees during the commencement.
Bachelor of arts degrees were handed out to Bayside’s Julie Leventhal and Charles Boudiette. And Amanda Boyd graduated with a master of arts.
At Clark University, Little Neck’s Samantha Kantor was placed on the dean’s list for the spring semester.
To make that list, a student must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
