Last week, Education.com put out a list of 50 books children should read before they begin kindergarten. What are some suggestions for books that are not on this list?

These days, children are in school way before kindergarten. Most preschools take the children at three years of age, depending on when their birthday is and if they are fully trained to use the bathroom.

It's not so much which books or how many books children look at before kindergarten, considering that's when children start to read anyway. It's the quality. Parents just need to read to their children daily. It's vital for young minds to hear the words and see the pictures before you begin to worry about pushing children to read at an early age.
