Post on a Passion - Feiner Finds

As a former NYC schoolteacher, and current longtime Board of Directors member of the Bayside Hills Civic Association, I've certainly had my share of diverse interests. However, there is one field that I've been so passionate about, that it falls into the "follow your dream" category. I am speaking of the world of Interior Decorating and Design.  Thus, for years, I've poured through magazines, watched every show on the subject my DVR would hold, and always maintained that once my career in education had come to a close, I would pursue one in decorating. And that I did!  I had done a little investigating, and discovered that Queensborough  Community College offers, through their Continuing Education Department, a Certificate program in Interior Design/Decoration. I found the course of study challenging, rewarding, and invaluable.  Upon completion, I went on to establish my own decorating business, Feiner Finds, which for me was not only quite an accomplishment, but a dream come true! I hope this inspires you to dare to do what you love, and love what you do.Eileen Feiner of Feiner Finds-  feinerfinds@aol.com
