Samuel Field Y to Offer S.A.T. Prep Course

The Samuel Field Y will offer a 12-week S.A.T. preparation course for northeast Queens students that will begin next week.

The class, which will be held every Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., begins on March 12 and ends on May 21.

The course will be taught by an experienced, professional S.A.T. instructor and will include two full-length practice exams. Students will also receive additional materials and study aids to help them prepare for the test.

The class, which is available for 10^th, 11^th and 12^th graders, costs $450 for all 12 sessions.

“It’s taught by an instructor with ample years of experience who is published in the field,” said Jessica Grabowski, a spokeswoman for the Y. “It’s a qualitative course and we keep it small, so it pinpoints individuals’ needs.”

The prep course will be held at the Y’s Bay Terrace Center, which is located at 212-00 23^rd Ave. in Bayside.
