SNAP's 6th Annual Health Expo

Health and Wellness, Health Fair, Health Expo

SNAP of Eastern Queens Health Expo

The last Wednesday in May is National Senior Health and Fitness Day! What a better way to recognize the importance of this day to our community’s seniors than to hold an event in their honor. To mark this day, the Health and Wellness Department of SNAP (Services Now for Adult Persons), one of New York City’s finest Innovative Senior Centers will be hosting a Health and Fitness Expo on Thursday, May 25th from 10:00 AM-1:00 PM. It will take place at SNAP of Eastern Queens Senior Center, 80-45 Winchester Blvd. Bldg# 4 Queens Village, New York.

SNAP would like to take this opportunity to cordially invite all seniors to expand their awareness of optimum health practices and physical fitness. More than 20 health care providers from a variety of disciplines shall be in attendance. Selective practitioners will be offering informative seminars throughout the morning as well as free screenings. We will also have one of our very own SNAP artists’ offering art meditation therapies. Representatives from all agencies will be available to answer general questions as well as distribute educational materials.
