do some shopping around find a local guy who works hard and has a few workers as the bigger company don't pay to close attention to your needs, i have been a small business for 14 years in the snow plowing and well i have many happy customers and very few unhappy one's (can't please every one) but in the end most are happy.

in a real bad storm don't call your plow guy every hour as he is driving in this bad weather and its really not fun answer a cell phone when you driving or plowing, send him or her friendly text just to remind them that you are waiting for them to come services you house/business.

there are 2 way to go 1. per- push, you pay for how many inches on the ground every time he shows up, or 2. seasonal you pay a flat fee for the winter year/season and that it (unless there is a blizzard or something), i try to get most of my custom to pay seasonal because it help with billing and well sometimes its cheaper then "per-push" last year if you paid "per-push" well you paid a lot but if you got seasonal you made out really good, so remember do whats best for you.

don't be afraid to ask question about a contract , if the contractor is honest he will have nothing to hide, and if you ever need snow removal services just look me up in queen.
