Weprin to Hold Home Owners Forum

Councilman Mark Weprin, D-Oakland Gardens, will host a forum for home owners to discuss issues such as property taxes and home repairs at P.S. 188Q on April 25.

The Informational Forum for Home Owners will run from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the school, which is located at 218-12 Hartland Ave. in Oakland Gardens.

It will be hosted by Weprin and the city’s Department of Housing Preservation and Development.

Attendees will be able to ask questions about property tax exemptions, foreclosure prevent, building permits, lead safety, pest control and low-interest home repair loans.
