Performances held in a 19th Century Victorian Townhouse, Historical Bed Stuy Brooklyn.

On a quiet friendly tree lined block, the amazing sound of Jazz comes alive from the Parlor area, normally used for musical acoustic events.

In the1800’s a classic music was taking birth, call JAZZ. Also houses made of brown stone. With the creation of Jazz and Brownstones we’ve created our venue called BrownstoneJAZZ. A very unique Boutique Jazz Salon. Up close, intimate and personal experience, which presents a variety of jazz musicians for authentic listening pleasures.

Ensambles formed by BsJAZZ differently each week allows for a special evening of unexpected classic jazz standards creativity.

It’s common knowledge that many of the jazz tunes we hear today came about by musicians jammin’ together in a home setting before the music ever hit any public music scene.

Brownstone jazz performing and visual arts programs was designed to continue one of the historical legacies of the Bedford Stuyvesant Brooklyn Community, unknown to many of ever existing. Being knowledgable of only Harlem’s existence of jazz.

Some of NYC’S best performances, with engaged audiences, from around the world come out and listen to TOP JAZZ ARTIST @ reasonable prices. Included is the Traditional late night, home prepared Famous FISH FRY Buffet Intermission. Right from the kitchen of the Vintage Sankofa Aban Bed and Breakfast. A Bed and Breakfast with Hotel Class, entertainment.
