Solomon is a jazz and blues guitarist, singer, and composer. An eclectic musician, Solomon excels at a number of styles ranging from jazz, blues, classical, gospel, R&B, funk and classic rock. He studied jazz, classical and Afro-Cuban guitar at Harlem’s School of the Arts, Boys Conservatory, Brooklyn Music Academy,
SOLOMON HICKS HAS BEEN CALLED ‘LIL’ B.B. KING, EAST MONTGOMERY, AND KING SOLOMON BY HIS FANS FROM NYC, NATIONALLY AND NOW INTERNATIONALLY.
He is the real deal…the next best thing out of New York City. Solomon has been in the biz since age 13 as the lead guitarist and performer at the Cotton Club, with a 13-piece band. He recorded his first CD, Embryonic, at age 14 with the Cotton Club All-Star Band."

Brownstone JAZZ is presented in a Historical 19th Century 1880's Victorian Townhouse Sankofa Aban Bed and Breakfast's Parlor Floor, living for continual concerts within the extremely vibrant jazz community Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn's years gone by.
The building was purchased and is still owned by the same family of six generation. They arrived to the community around the same time JAZZ did if not before. The artifacts that surround the two floors helps to transport you back to that earlier period, of when the Parris family arrived.
An up close and personal jazz room that features some of todays Best JAZZ ARTISTS. Musicians that work hard at keeping America’s first original music alive, along the BrownstoneJAZZ journey. They are the jazz Artists that have played, studied, toured, jammed and recorded on the major jazz scene for years.
Find some of NYC'S best performances, with engaged audiences from all over the world that are able to recognize the musicians that they’ve come to know in their own countries, playing the intimate jazz room that comes alive, right in front them.

You're invited to a magical evening of music as host Debbie and Eric takes you behind the scene of this lost in the future jazz venue. You can get there early to meet the performers, as you take a seat for the jazz fest experience of a lifetime. These two host will present you with some of the best hospitality in NYC along with staff members as you become a membered guest for a very private evening anytime you attend. Always feeling like you belong there.
Both Eric Lemons, and Debbie McClain have been involved in the world of music entertainment the majority of their lives. Either learning, teaching, playing, recording, hosting, grooming, promoting, producing or presenting major artist. They really know the business, and still learning
Included in your evening experience an upright grand piano, once used to create some of today's classic Jazz tunes, grouped alongside other acoustic instruments in what we call THE ROOM. Also Debbie’s Southern Fish Fry Buffet. Pan style cooked on site in an old traditional way. Hang on for an extended set including ERIC LEMON’S WEEKEND OPEN MIC session.
