What: Benji Hart and Michael Roberson of House Lives Matter lead this street dance workshop, open to participants at all dance levels, that includes history of Voguing as "a tool for resistance and queer liberation."

Babefest: A Concert To Benefit Emily's List

Rule Breakers Featuring Janelle Monae

What: This daylong festival, sponsored by Bustle, features exclusively women artists and entrepreneurs. Janelle Monae, Samantha Ronson and Sofi Tukker are slated to perform.
Where: LeFrak Center at the Prospect Park lakeside
When: Saturday from 1 p.m. to at 8 p.m.


Atlantic Antic
Neighborhood:
Brooklyn Heights
What: The oldest street festival in Brooklyn returns to Atlantic Avenue, bringing live music, fresh food and a dumpling eating contest to the block.
Where: Atlantic Avenue from Hicks Street to Fourth Avenue
When: Sunday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.


BABËL | Goodbye Summer Celebration
Neighborhood:
Williamsburg
What: The event description reads, "As summer fades into the horizon and the colors of fall ignite — it’s a time to fiercely own our individuality, our unique styles and resident energies." We're not sure what that might entail, but it sounds very nice.
Where: The William Vale at 111 North 12th St.
