Bed-Stuy Shooting Leaves Man Dead And 3 Injured, Cops Say

Giovanni Lewis was killed and three others wounded in a Bed-Stuy shooting Wednesday night, police said.

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN -- A shooting in Bed-Stuy left a Crown Heights man dead and three others injured, police said.

Giovanni Lewis, 20, was fatally shot in the head and chest inside an apartment building on Fulton Street near Utica Avenue at about 10:25 p.m. Wednesday night, said police.

A 55-year-old woman was shot in the stomach during the attack, another 20-year-old man was shot in the torso and a 22-year-old woman had a graze wound on her buttocks, said police.

Emergency responders rushed the 55-year-old woman and man to Brookdale Hospital and the 22-year-old woman to Kings County Hospital, according to police.

Both women are in stable condition and the 20-year-old is in critical condition, police said.

Police had made no arrests as of Thursday morning.
