Body Found In Wreckage Of Bed-Stuy Fire: Report
The body was found after the Gates Avenue fire, which officials had said was in a vacant construction site, according to reports.

BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — A body was pulled from the wreckage of a three-alarm fire in Bed-Stuy on Tuesday, which officials originally believed was a vacant building, according to reports.
The body was found at the scene of the 394 Gates Ave. property the day after firefighters extinguished a blaze that had broken out early Monday morning, according to Pix 11. Crews were still working on removing debris from the building, found near Marcy Avenue, the outlet said.
The city's medical examiner will determine the cause of death for the victim, Pix 11 said.

The three-alarm fire first broke out in the building, which was under construction, around 6 a.m. and took 138 firefighters and nearly five hours to put out, according to FDNY.
The building had also at least partially collapsed during the blaze, officials said.

The fire sent one firefighter to the hospital, according to the FDNY.
