Brooklyn Court Officer Shares Racist, 'Vile' Meme: Reports
Sgt. Terri Pinto Napolitano, who shared a meme depicting the lynching of President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, has been suspended.

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK — A meme depicting the lynching of President Barack Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton being led to a gallows is, as officials put it, "vile" and racist.
And it was approvingly shared on Facebook by an officer of Brooklyn Criminal Court over the weekend, according to reports.
Sgt. Terri Pinto Napolitano has since been suspended and had her gun taken away, the New York Daily News reported. She's apparently the unnamed court officer condemned Saturday in a letter by Chief Judge Janet DiFiore and shared the New York State Court Officers Association labor union.

"This conduct is abhorrent, by (anyone), at any time, and under any circumstances," the letter states. "But at this critical moment in our history — when our nation is reeling from the death of George Floyd and its aftermath — it is a sickening and unpardonable offense against every colleague in our court system, as well as the vast and diverse public that we serve."
Napolitano shared two images, according to screen shots published by the New York Law Journal. One shows Obama swinging from a loose with the words "Your day is coming TRAITOR!" emblazoned underneath. The other shows Clinton being led to a gallows — "It's not over till the fat lady swings," it says.

The post is accompanied by Napolitano's hashtags "#obamagate" and "#treason."
The union also condemned Napolitano's "racist" posts.
DiFiore's letter states the disciplinary process has been and officials will take every step in their power to punish.
