City Will Hand Out Free Coronavirus Masks At Bed-Stuy Park
Saratoga Park will be one of several parks Tuesday where city workers will distribute free protective masks.

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN — Tuesday looks to be a fine day to visit Saratoga Park and get a free mask while taking in the blue skies.
City workers will be handing out protective face masks at the Bed-Stuy park Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
New York City started an initiative Saturday to give away more than 100,000 masks in city parks through Tuesday, with plans to distribute an estimated 7.5 million face coverings in coming weeks to combat the spread of the new coronavirus.

Health officials encourage wearing a mask in public — a piece of advice made mandatory by an order issued by Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
The city will also be distributing masks at Saint John's Park and Saint Andrew's Playground on Tuesday. More information about locations and times of mask distributions can be found here.
