Cyclist Killed In Collision With SUV In Bed-Stuy, Police Say

The 47-year-old man was crossing the intersection of Rochester and Atlantic avenues when he was hit by a Nissan on Tuesday, police said.

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN — A Nissan SUV slammed into a cyclist and killed him in Brooklyn Tuesday evening, police said.

The 47-year-old man was biking north at the intersection of Rochester and Atlantic avenues at around 5:50 p.m. when the westbound Nissan rammed into him, said police.

Emergency responders rushed the injured man to Kings County Hospital but doctors were unable to save his life, according to police.

The Nissan driver remained at the accident and did not face immediate charges, said police.
