Man Dies After Shooting At Bed-Stuy Basketball Court, Police Say
Jack Lester, 22, was shot dead in the John Hancock Playground basketball courts Sunday afternoon, police said.

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN -- One man was shot dead and another injured in a Bed-Stuy basketball court Sunday afternoon, police said.
Jack Lester, 22, died after he and a 29-year-old were shot in the John Hancock basketball courts on the corner of Hancock Street and Spencer Place at about 4 p.m. Sunday, said police.
Medics rushed the 29-year-old, who had been shot in the backside and was in stable condition, to Kings County Hospital, police said.

Lester was rushed to Interfaith Medical Center, but doctors were unable to save his life, according to police.
No arrests had been made as of Monday morning, police said.
