Man Shot Dead Outside Bed-Stuy NYCHA Houses, Cops Say

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN -- A man was shot dead outside the Sumner Houses Tuesday night, police said.

A 35-year-old man was shot in the head near the corner of Marcy and Throop avenues at about 10:25 p.m., said police.

Emergency responders rushed to the scene but were unable to save his life, police said.

No arrests had been made as of Wednesday morning, said police, who will release the man's name once his family has been notified.
