Man Shot Multiple Times In Bed-Stuy; Suspect Still At Large

The victim, who has not been identified, was shot multiple times in the legs, police said.

BED-STUY, NY — Police are searching for a gunman accused of opening fire on a residential Brooklyn street late Monday night.

Police said the shooting happened around 10 p.m. outside a building on Atlantic Avenue near Albany Avenue in Bed-Stuy.

The victim, whose identity has not been released, was shot multiple times in the legs and rushed to Kings County Hospital Center, where he was listed in stable condition, police said.

It was not immediately clear whether the gunman had a specific target, and few details were available about what led to the shooting.

As of Tuesday morning, no arrests had been made.
