I am a native Brooklynite but I lived in Cali for a long time after graduating from college and now that I'm back in New York, I love it and here's a perfect example why: http://mistersaturdaynight.com/. My friends and I danced like there was a prize for Best in Show and to top it off when it rained the crowd didn't budge - this is where locs come in handy, I didn't have to worry about my hair and it went from just having fun to a full on cathartic experience.
