Bed-Stuy Set For New 8-Story Development With Condos And Shops
Developers plan a 73-foot-tall building with 10 residential units and over 4,300 square feet of commercial space.
BROOKLYN, NY — Permits have been filed for an eight-story mixed-use building at 717 Myrtle Ave. in the Bed-Stuy.
The site, near the intersection of Walworth Street and Myrtle Avenue, is within walking distance of the Myrtle-Willoughby Avenues subway station on the G line. Shloma Stuhl of Zev Zafir Inc. is listed as the owner in the filings.
The proposed 73-foot-tall building would total 16,746 square feet, including 12,413 square feet of residential space and 4,332 square feet of commercial space. Plans call for 10 residential units, likely condominiums, based on an average unit size of about 1,241 square feet.

The concrete structure would include a cellar and four enclosed parking spaces. Nikolai Katz is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits for the existing two-story building on the site were filed last year. A projected completion date has not been announced.
