PROSPECT HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — The Brooklyn Museum's doors may be closed to the public, but it hasn't withdrawn from its community amid the coronavirus crisis.

The museum starting June 1 will host food distributions to hungry Brooklynites from its biergarten, according to a release.

The food giveaway will be done in partnership with The Campaign Against Hunger, a Bed-Stuy food pantry that has stepped up as food uncertainty grew along with the outbreak.

People can sign up for the food distribution at the Brooklyn Museum by emailing healthymeals@brooklynmuseum.org, a release states. The distribution will be June 1 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the museum's biergarten in its rear parking lot.
