Bizarre Hosts Mr(s) BK

Neighborhood: Bushwick
What: Check out this drag queen competition hosted by the RuPaul's Drag Race alumna Acid Betty.
Where: Bizarre bar at 12 Jefferson St.
When: Doors open at 8 p.m. Friday


Leprechaun 4: In Space

Neighborhood: Williamsburg
What: This late night screening tells the tale of a Leprechaun on a far away planet and about to wed to a space princess.
Where: Nitehawk Cinema at 136 Metropolitan Ave.
When: 12:20 a.m. Saturday

Five Boroughs Brewing Co. Oyster Fest

Neighborhood: Sunset Park
What: Celebrate Ireland day the classy way. Five boroughs will be serving all-you-can-eat oysters and its newest beer, the Dry Irish Stout.

When: Noon Saturday


Animal Care Centers of NYC's Brooklyn Adoption Event

Neighborhood: Williamsburg
What: Come find your future cat or dog friend. Adoptions include vaccinations, a microchip, ID tag, collar and a free exam.

United Airlines NYC Half Marathon

Neighborhood: Just about every neighborhood between Prospect Heights and Central Park
What: Run while people cheer. Cheer while people run. Do not attempt both this and the Emerald Kingdom.
Where: Race starts at Grand Army Plaza and ends at shortly past the Central Park Reservoir.
When: Race begins 7:30 a.m. Sunday


Vodka and Pickles Festival

Neighborhood: Park Slope
What: Learn how to drink shots like a Russian — with a pickle chaser.
Where: Grand Prospect Hall at 263 Prospect Ave.
When: 12 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Sunday


2018 Brooklyn Camp Expo

Neighborhood: Williamsburg
What: Find a summer camp, holiday camp or after school program for your kid at this free event.
