Gunman Sought After Brooklyn Shooting Leaves One Injured, Police Say

A Brooklyn man was shot Monday while walking in front of an apartment building in Bedford-Stuyvesant, according to police.

BED-STUY, NY — A person was shot and wounded on a Brooklyn street Monday night by a gunman who has yet to be caught, police said.

Shots rang out around 10 p.m. outside an apartment building on MacDonough Street near Howard Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, police said.

The victim was shot once in the right arm, police said. His injuries were not considered life-threatening.

Police have not announced any arrests, and no description of a possible suspect had been released as of Wednesday.
