Straphanger Stabbed On J Train In Bed-Stuy: NYPD

A man was stabbed after a verbal fight broke out between two subway-riders in Brooklyn Sunday, police said.

BED-STUY, NY — A man was stabbed on a J train in Bed-Stuy over the weekend after a dispute, police said.

The two strangers started fighting about 2 a.m. Sunday on a northbound J train at the Myrtle Avenue and Broadway station before one of the men stabbed the other multiple times, according to the NYPD.

The stabber ran, and the victim, 31, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition, police say.

Police were still searching for the stabber Monday, and released a video of the man walking on a train platform.
