BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — A 31-year-old is in critical condition after he was shot walking down the street in Bed-Stuy earlier this month, police said.

Cops released video Monday of the moment a shooter ran up behind the 31-year-old man on Chauncey Street last week and fired in broad daylight, hitting him in the torso, according to police.

The shooter had been dropped off by another person driving a Mazda CX5, who then picked him up after the incident, according to police and video.

The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital in critical but stable condition, police said.

The shooter wore a dark colored hooded sweater with a blue graphic on its back, blue sweatpants and black sneakers, police said. They released several photos of him and the getaway car, along with the surveillance video:
