BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN -- Metal and steel beams were blown off the roof of a Bed-Stuy building as an impending storm loomed over the city, officials said.
A massive metal structure atop a building at Bedford Avenue and Willoughby Street collapsed at about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, said FDNY, and witnesses caught it on camera.

There were no injuries reported, said an FDNY spokesman.
The metal beams blew off the roof of 926 Bedford Ave., a building that was given a stop-work order in March for illegal construction that was later rescinded by the Department of Buildings, city records show.
