Woman Pushed, Groped In Bed Stuy Store: Police

A man pushed the woman down and tried to pull down her pants at a Bed Stuy store, according to the NYPD.

BED STUY, NY — A man forcibly grabbed a 28-year-old woman's breast and pushed her to the ground in Bed Stuy on March 13, police announced Wednesday.

The woman was working in the basement of a building near Myrtle Avenue and Nostrand Avenue at about 8:35 p.m. when a man she did not know grabbed her breast, pushed her down and tried to take her pants off, police said. The woman screamed, and the man ran away on Nostrand Avenue, according to NYPD.

Police released surveillance video and photos of the man on Wednesday but had not made any arrests, according to NYPD. In surveillance video, the man can be seen in a long coat and black hat fiddling with his wallet at a checkout counter.
