18YO Katonah Man Arrested For Drunk Driving: Police
Yorktown police initially responded to a car crashing into a mailbox.
KATONAH, NY — An 18-year-old Katonah man faces drunk driving charges in the Town of Yorktown. Police said the man, whose name is being withheld due to eligibility for youthful offender status, was arrested around 3:30 a.m. Thursday, July 20 and charged with driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated with a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or more.

Police said the 18-year-old was allegedly driving drunk and he was arrested and taken to police headquarters.

Further investigation found the man was allegedly driving with a blood-alcohol content higher than 0.08 percent.
He was processed on the charges and released on his own recognizance to a responsible party.

The man is due back in Yorktown Justice Court August 1.
