33-Year-Old Bedford Hills Man Arrested For Sexually Abusing Child: PD

The Bedford police said the suspect, who is a family member of the victim, remains under house arrest while the investigation continues.

BEDFORD, NY — A Bedford Hills man accused of sexually abusing a child remains under house arrest while the case is being investigated, according to police.

On September 5, the Town of Bedford Police Department took a report from a family in Bedford Hills who reported unlawful sexual contact that occurred between one of their children and a relative, according to officials.

On September 10, detectives took 33-year-old Rondolfo Salazar Salazar of Bedford Hills into custody. Salazar Salazar was arraigned in Town of Bedford Court and released with the stipulation of an electronic ankle monitor.

Bedford police and the Westchester County District Attorney's Office said they are continuing to investigate the case and said additional charges may be filed.

Salazar Salazar is currently charged with forcible touching, endangering the welfare of a child and third degree sexual abuse, according to authorities.
