​4 John Jay Wolves Sign Letters Of Intent To Play At Big Name Programs

Annabel Brennan, Brooke Legenzowski, Shannon Nolan and Mia Puccio are headed to NCAA Division 1 schools to compete at the highest levels.

CROSS RIVER, NY — Four standout student athletes from John Jay High School will soon be moving on to a much bigger arena.

The school announced that four of its athletes signed Letters of Intent, committing to continue their education and compete athletically at the Division 1 Collegial Level.

The Letter of Intent Signing Ceremony was held on Wednesday, and was attended by the students’ families and friends. Athletic Director Chris McCarthy noted that it is the second year in a row that females have dominated the Signing Ceremony at John Jay.

"Today is about you," McCarthy told those gathered. "We are so excited to celebrate your accomplishments and future."

  • Annabel Brennan will play Lacrosse at the College of the Holy Cross.
  • Brooke Legenzowski will be part of the elite Rowing team at Stanford University.
  • Shannon Nolan will play Lacrosse at Lehigh University.
  • Teammate Mia Puccio will play Lacrosse at Dartmouth College.
