UPDATE—Wednesday, April 27, 2016 4:55 p.m.: The car that a Metro-North train hit Wednesday had broken down on the tracks.
NBCNewYork.com reported an MTA spokeswoman said the people or person inside were able to get out of the car before the northbound train hit it.

The MTA said no one was injured.
There are up to 70 minutes delays on the Harlem Line as a result of the accident, according to the MTA.

UPDATE—Wednesday, April 27, 2016, 4:20 p.m.: A car was hit by a Metro-North train in Bedford at Green Lane.
Lohud.com said the train was going northbound at the time and there were no people in the car at the time of the crash.
There are delays on the northbound Harlem line from Mount Kisco to Katonah.

An accident in the Town of Bedford has forced the closing of a ramp to the northbound Saw Mill River Parkway.
The state Department of Transportation said the northbound parkway ramp to Exit 38, Green Lane, was closed at 3:48 p.m. due to an accident.
It is anticipated it will remain closed for four hours.
