Antique Kimonos on Display at Katonah Arts Museum Beginning Oct. 12

The exhibit complements the Samurai weapons exhibit that debuts the same day.

Antique kimonos from the Alexander Murray Collection will be on display at the Katonah Arts Museum from Oct. 12 to Jan. 4.

The garments are from the 18th to 20th Century, and each one was ”exclusively designed, hand-dyed, painted, stitched, and embroidered,” according to the museum.

The exhibit complements the Samurai weapons exhibit that debuts the same day, and both will be featured the following week as part of the museum’s Samurai Sunday event.
